January 2019
Following the Christmas break, we will be focusing on the causes and effects of the war of 1812 and its key players. Students will be expected to create a summary timeline of the major battles and use this information to guide them in a research essay to answer the question: "Who won the War of 1812?". Students will work on finding credible sources and using this to inform their knowledge and opinions.
